Earlier this week, a Vivo smartphone with model number V2118A was seen at the database of the Google Play Console. Now, the device has received certification from the 3C certification platform of China. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the V2118A could be an updated edition of the iQOO Neo3, which was announced last year in the home market. Hence, it appears that may debut as an iQOO branded device.

revealed that it is a 5G phone and its retail package may include a 44W rapid
charging. The 3C listing has no other information on its specs. The tipster
that the V2118 handset will arrive with an LCD panel and Snapdragon 870. The
Vivo V2118A’s Google Play Console listing had revealed that its screen features
a punch-hole at the upper-right corner. The listing further revealed that its
right spine is flanked by a volume controller and a side-mounted fingerprint
scanner.

pixels FHD+ resolution and a 480ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 870 SoC was
mentioned with its 8250ac part number in the listing along with 8 GB of RAM. It
was found to be preloaded with Android 11 OS. The other specs of the phone are
yet to be revealed.
The iQOO Neo3 5G that debuted last year
came with specs like a 6.57-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh
rate, Snapdragon 865 chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1
storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. For
photography, it came with a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 48-megapixel
(main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. It
remains to be seen whether the V2118A features the same cameras and battery
that were available on the Neo3.
