Xiaomi has today launched a special version of its flagship Mi 11 smartphone, dubbed as Mi 11 Star Diamond Gift Box Edition. As with all previous special edition devices, this one too has a refreshed design but keeps the same internals.
It comes with a new Star Diamond packaging
which covers the whole body of the smartphone in its pattern. The company is
also including a Star Diamond protective case in the box with a glittery star
and diamond design.
As for the specifications, it remains the
same as the standard model. It comes with a 6.81-inch AMOLED display that
offers a 3200 x 1440 resolution and a punch-hole at the top left corner for the
front-facing camera.
The display has a 120Hz AdaptiveSync
refresh rate, and what this means is that it automatically switches between
30Hz to 120Hz refresh rates based on the content on the screen. The screen is
protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus while the curved back is covered
in Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, it is powered by the
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal
storage. It comes with a 108MP wide-angle camera along with a 13MP 123°
ultrawide angle camera and a 5MP “telemacro” camera. On the front side, there’s
a 20MP selfie snapper.
The smartphone is running the Android 11
operating system out-of-the-box with MIUI 12.5 on top. It is powered by a
4600mAh battery that supports 55W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless
charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
