Honor X10 Lite

Huawei has released a new Honor X10 smartphones. It joins the already released X10 5G and X10 Max 5G as a more affordable alternative. The new handset lacks 5G connectivity and carries the Honor X10 Lite moniker. Despite the lack of support for fifth-gen networks, we have a generous battery complete with fast-charging tech.

Under the hood, we have the Kirin 710 chipset which is not the best chipset out there, but we suppose that it’s the only one Huawei has available now. Anyway, It’s an Octa-Core chipset featuring Big.LITTLE architecture ( 4x Cortex-A73 at up to 2.2GHz + Cortex-A53 at up to 1.7 GHz) it is made on a 12nm node. The processing power is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. If that amount isn’t enough, you can easily expand it with a microSD card.

The phone flaunts a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a center-aligned punch hole for the 8MP selfie snapper. The company has made a good job achieving a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio here. The display also has a blue light filter certified by TUV Rheinland. Moving around to the back, we have a Quad-Camera array comprising a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture. We also have an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide lens, a 2MP f/2.4 depth assist lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro module. Moving to the bottom we have the 3.5mm Headphone jack and Type-C connector.

We have a huge 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging technology. The phone comes with Android 10 straight out of the box, no surprises here. We have Honor’s Magic UI 3.1 on top which is a branch of EMUI for Honor smartphones. Worth noting that you will not find any of Google applications here. Instead, the phone ships with Huawei Mobile Services led by AppGallery. The company included GPU Turbo 3.0 here for a smooth gaming experience.

Other features include NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Bluetooth 5.1. The phone measures 165.5 x 76.88 x 9.26 mm and weighs in at 206 grams. The phone comes in three distinct colorways – Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Icelandic Frost. The device is available for grabs in Saudi Arabia and retails at SAR 799 (US$ 213). It will also make way to the Russian market on November 13. More markets will receive it throughout November.
