OPPO announced a new Reno4 series for the European market. OPPO launched Reno4 Pro in India this summer, however, the new European series is different in some respects. This series includes three devices – Reno4 Pro 5G, Reno4 5G, and Reno4 Z 5G.
The Reno4 Pro 5G is naturally the top
model, although it is still mid-range in some aspects. This smartphone comes
with a Snapdragon 765 5G chipset as well as 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage
(not expandable). It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) AMOLED display with
a refresh rate of 90Hz. The battery is 4000 mAh and supports OPPO’s 65W
SuperVOOC 2.0 charging.
The triple camera setup on the back
includes a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle
lens optimized for night video recording. On the front, it comes with a 32MP
sensor for selfies.
Reno4 5G reduces performance slightly, but
it uses the same chipset as the Reno4 Pro 5G. This device comes with 8GB of RAM
and 128GB of internal storage. There is also no microSD card slot. The display
is slightly smaller at 6.4 inches and does not have a 90Hz refresh rate.
However, the resolution is the same as the Reno4 Pro 5G. It has a 4020 mAh
battery and supports 65W fast charging. Furthermore, this smartphone uses a
48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens. The
front camera is still 32MP, although there is also a 2MP depth sensor.
Finally, Reno4 Z 5G is the cheapest model
in the series. It is the first 5G smartphone in Europe with the MediaTek
Dimensity 800 SoC. It also has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory with no option
for a microSD card. It uses a 6.57-inch LTPS LCD display with the same Full HD+
resolution, but surprisingly it has a higher 120Hz refresh rate. The battery
capacity is 4,000 mAh but only supports 18W charging.
The camera setup includes four rear
cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-widescreen, a 2MP
monochrome lens for portraits, and another 2MP “old fashioned” monochrome lens
for portraits. On the front, there is a 16MP main camera and a secondary 2MP
depth sensor.
All of these devices will be available on
October 15th, but you can pre-order them now. OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G is priced at
799 Euros / 699 pounds, and it is available in Galaxy Blue or Space Black. The
company will also cooperate with PANTONE to launch a limited edition “Glitter
Green version” – the price is 849 euros.
The Reno4 5G costs € 599 or £ 499 and it
also comes with a space in Galaxy Blue or Black, although the colors are
slightly different in this model. Finally, the Reno4 Z 5G is priced at 399
Euros or 329 pounds and comes in jet black or off-white. OPPO also announced
that the OPPO Watch in Europe. The price of the LTE version is 399 euros.
