The Honor 30 series is coming soon and the
latest leak gives us a glimpse of the Pro model which was photographed in a
subway in China. The phone was packed inside a protective case but we can still
see it sports a pronounced curved display with a pill-shaped punch hole opening
for the two front-facing cameras in the top left corner. The screen is also
expected to sport a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Honor 30 Pro will ship with the Kirin
990 chipset and 5G connectivity as will the vanilla Honor 30. On the camera
side, we’re expecting a large 1/1.3" Sony main sensor with 1.2µm pixels
which should do well in low-light conditions. The accompanying modules are
still a mystery but we're expecting ultrawide and telephoto cameras alongside a
macro or depth helper.
