Samsung has revealed its latest
entry-level LTE tablet - the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). It comes to succeed the
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) and brings an octa-core CPU. Other key specs include
5,000 mAh battery and compact, slim body.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 has ab 8MP main
camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. Since the main use for this tablet will be
visual entertainment, it comes with an 8.4” LCD and a WUXGA resolution which
translates to 1920 x 1200 pixels. It has all the necessary ports and
connectivity options - 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5, LTE and Wi-Fi
a/b/g/n/ac.
Price-wise, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is US$ 279.99 and comes in a single memory option (3/32GB) and one color - Mocha. Samsung
is currently only offering deals with Verizon, but other carriers might get it
too later on. Orders are already open on the Samsung US website, while shipping
is scheduled for the end of the month.
