Realme’s fitness band was
first teased by the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth at the launch of the Realme 5i.
At around the same time, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified a
smartwatch made by Realme. Now, a press render showing us a full view of the
fitness tracker which will launch as the Realme SayHat (stylized as Realme Sayहत) has
surfaced on the web.
The image was shared on Weibo
and it shows the fitness tracker will have a yellow silicone strap just as
shown in the teaser shared by the CEO. We hope there will be other color
variants when it launches. The tracker itself, which we believe should be
removable has a monochromatic touch screen just like that of the Mi Band 2. It
should be an OLED display with a screen size of about 0.78-inches.
The render shows the fitness
tracker has a step counter and a calorie counter and it will display both on
the homescreen. We don’t know what other features it will pack but we expect it
to have sleep tracking. The image doesn’t show if it has a heart rate sensor or
if Realme ditched it just as Xiaomi did for the Mi Band 3i.
We expect the Realme SayHat
will connect via Bluetooth 4.2 LE, have a find my phone feature, and be able to
notify users when they have a call or receive an app notification. Based on the
design and features, the Realme SayHat should be an inexpensive fitness tracker
with a similar price tag as the Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 3i. However, it is
important that it also has a great accompanying app for data analysis.
There is no info on when
Realme will announce its fitness tracker but according to the source, it will
launch first in India before making its way to China.
