Back in June 2019, LG launched
its budget smartphone LG W10 in numerous markets. It seems like the company is
now working on its successor dubbed LG W20. The smartphone has recently spotted
on the Google Play Console listing by the folks at 91Mobiles. As the name
suggests, the device will sit right between the W10 and W30. For those who’re
unaware, the LG W-lineup is the
company’s online-focussed series.
Coming to the listing, we now
have some key specifications of the device along with the frontal design. As
per the listing, LG W20 will run on a budget Spreadtrum SC9863A chipset paired
with 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, the device will come with a Full HD+ display with
a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a pixel density of 320 PPI. Looking at the
design, the phone features slim bezels on the side and a sizeable chin. Sadly,
the console didn’t reveal any back design of the device.
The budget smartphone will run
on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. For those who’re unaware, Spreadtrum
SC9863A chipset was launched way back in 2018. It comes with eight Cortex A55
cores clocked up to 1.6Hz. For graphics, the SoC makes use of PowerVR GE8322
GPU. With that said, we’re expecting more information to appear on the web in
the coming months. In terms of pricing, we’re expecting it to come with a price
tag of US$ 126 just like the previous generation LG W10.
