After its
official unveiling in China and Europe last month, the Realme X2 Pro has now
made its way to India. The flagship was introduced at an event held in New
Delhi with the aim to tick the flagship at a price point that’s pretty hard to
beat. In fact, starting at INR 29,999 (US$ 420) the Realme X2 Pro is going to be
considerably cheaper in India than in Europe.
Realme is
also bringing the Master Edition versions of the X2 Pro which were inspired by
red brick and concrete and feature a soft-touch glass finish. The X2 Pro lives
up to its flagship status by packing a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz
refresh rate. There’s also a small waterdrop notch for the 16MP selfie cam and
a trendy UD fingerprint scanner.
Moving to
the back the X2 Pro comes with a quad-cam setup, headlined by a 64MP main
shooter. There’s also a 13MP F/2.5 telephoto camera, 8MP F/2.2 ultrawide module
and 2MP depth helper. Under the hood, we have the latest Snapdragon 855+ which
is paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The base
8GB/64GB version with UFS 2.1 is not coming to India.
The
battery capacity is 4,000 mAh and it comes with support for blazing-fast 50W
SuperVOOC Flash Charge. This is good for a full charge in just under 35
minutes. On the software front, Realme is sticking with Android 9 Pie and
ColorOS 6.1 but an update to Android 10 is already in the works.
The
Realme X2 Pro will be available in Neptune Blue and Lunar White colors starting
at INR 29,999 (US$ 420) for the 8GB/128GB version and INR 33,999 (US$ 470) for the
12GB/256GB model. The phone will have its first sale from 12PM on November 26
to 11:59PM on November 27 on Realme.com and Flipkart.
The catch
is that the sale will be invite only and you'll need to claim your invites on
the two websites every day from November 21 to November 23 from 12PM to
12:30PM. Alternatively you can follow Realme India's CEO Madhav Sheth on
Facebook and Twitter, where he'll be distributing some extra invites starting
today. The Master Edition will go for INR 34,999 (US$ 480) and sales are scheduled
to begin later in December.
