The new Motorola Razr has been in the
spotlight over the past days and for the right reasons. With its mix of
throwback clamshell design and unique horizontal folding screen, Motorola’s
first foldable has certainly brought excitement in the smartphone world. We already knew the new
Razr is coming with a US$ 1,500 asking price in the US but a new report suggests
European users will have to shell out € 1,680 (around US$ 1,860) for the
unlocked variant.
The report also details that the new Razr
will be available from January 24 in Sweden. Other European countries like the
Netherlands are also expected to get the new Razr around that time period with
a price tag in the € 1,600 range.
One of the big gripes with the new Razr
comes with its lackluster chipset and camera, which leave a lot to be desired,
particularly at that sort of price. At the same time, Motorola has chimed away
from releasing flagship devices lately and the new Razr does offer a
bleeding-edge foldable display at a lower price compared to Samsung and Huawei.
