Sony has now added two new products to its extra
bass headphones lineup called Sony XB400 and Sony CH510. Both the headphones
are now official for the Indian market expanding the audio product lineup of
the brand. Surprisingly, both of the product comes with the same price tag of
INR 3,990 (roughly 56USD). Sony XB400 is an in-ear headphone with neckband
while the CH510 is an over-the-ear extra bass headphone. The former comes with
a 12mm drivers while the latter uses 30mm Neodymium drivers for the audio.
Apart from these, there is no major difference between these two equally priced
headphones.
Coming to the specifications, both the headphones
feature Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and USB Type-C port for charging. They
also come with the support of Google Assistant and omnidirectional microphones
for hands-free calling. Talking about battery life, both the products support
quick charging. Sony XB400 can offer
one-hour music playback on a 10 minute of charge while the CH510 will offer 90
minutes of playback. The XB400 can offer up to 15 hours of battery life on a
single charge while the CH510 takes it up to 35 hours.
As mentioned earlier, the XB400 in-ear headphones
feature neckband style design along with magnets. These magnets on earbuds
allow you to clip it together when not in use for more practical usage. The
CH510, on the other hand, features swiveling earcups making it easier option
for carrying.
Sony is also teasing the over-headphones to be quite light and
slim for longer listening experience. Both the headphones are now available for
purchase in the Indian market. Considering the same pricing, both the products
should deliver a similar sound signature and audio experience. Interested
