Canon EOS M200

Canon has just revealed the EOS M200 mirrorless camera. It is M100's successor packed with new features that should be great for aspiring photographers and maybe even vloggers.

Coming from M100, EOS M200 retains the same 24.1MP APS-C sensor, but it has an updated Digic 8 processor. The new processor allowed the new camera to attain new important features like Dual Pixel eye-detect autofocus and 4K, 24p video.

It is designed to deliver excellent image quality with accurate colors and detailed RAW images and Dual Pixel AF and eye-detect AF for easier, faster, and more accurate focus. The camera now has updated AF points from 49 to 123.

The 24p 4K video with 1.6 times APS-C crop though. It can still be used by vloggers, but you should extend your hands further than usual. Or maybe use a gorilla pod as an extender. The rest is the same with M100 from the body, button layout, and pop-up selfie screen.

It will arrive in October in black and white color options. Canon EOS M200 with EF-M 15-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is priced at US$ 549.
