Earlier, Cherry Mobile announced the pre-order for
the new Flare S8 Pro, but details are scarce. But now, we just got its full
specs and it is promising. Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Pro will feature a glossy back design and a 6.5-inch
HD+ IPS display at 259 ppi.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 12nm MediaTek
Helio P22 (MT6762V) octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is paired with
the PowerVR IMG GE8320, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and 4,000mAh battery
with an unspecified fast charging solution. For the cameras, it is very
promising. It uses a 20MP Sony IMX350 primary shooter with BSI and PDAF paired
with a 5MP secondary camera. It is also assisted by a dual-tone LED flash.
For selfies, it has the 20MP Sony
IMX376 BSI shooter.
The rest of the specs include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz),
700MHz 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, and a hybrid dual SIM slot (micro +
nano). It runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box.
