OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphones,
OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this month. While the OnePlus 7 Pro went on
sale from May 17th at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and other offline stores, the
OnePlus 7 was not available yet. Today, OnePlus India has officially announced
that OnePlus 7 smartphone will go on sale in India from June 4th on Amazon.in.
OnePlus 7 will be available in 6GB RAM with 128GB
internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256 internal storage options. The 6GB RAM +
128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 32,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
variant is priced at Rs. 37,999. There will be two color options available
i.e., Mirror Grey and Red color, but only the Grey color version will be
available next week.
Both the RAM and storage variants will be on sale on
4th June 12 PM onwards and the Amazon India listing is live now. The ‘Notify
Me’ option is also live and users can subscribe and stay updated for the sale.
It will also be available oneplus.in, and in all OnePlus exclusive offline
stores. Additionally, pre-booking for the OnePlus 7 begins on 7th June 2019 in
all partner retail outlets with sales commencing on these platforms on 14th
June 2019.
To recall, OnePlus 7 has the same 6.41-inch
FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with a notch
on the 6T and an in-display fingerprint sensor, but this is powered by
Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with
OxygenOS 9.5, has a 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor along with
a 5-megapixel secondary camera and a 16-megapixel camera on the front with Sony
IMX471 sensor.
It has a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass back, stereo
speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint sensor as the 7 Pro,
but this comes with 3700mAh battery with fast charging (5V – 4A) as the 6T.
