Lenovo has announced it’s first triple
camera smartphone – the Lenovo Z5s – in China with an enticing starting price
of 1,398 Yuan (US$ 202). Apart from its first Snapdragon 855 device, the company
also introduced the Lenovo Z5s Zhu Yilong Custom Edition. This is a limited
edition phone and the same handset also debuting at CES,
Lenovo has revealed on its official Weibo handle.
Like most special editions, the Lenovo Z5s Zhu
Yilong Custom Edition boasts more RAM and storage – 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of
storage – to be specific. Zhu Yilong is a popular Chinese actor and he’s the
poster boy for Lenovo’s Z5s. Lenovo will be manufacturing a very limited
quantity of the custom edition phone, in fact as little as 4,160 units. The
Lenovo Z5s Zhu Yilong Custom Edition comes with the actor’s signature engraved
on the gradient back and a number of accessories like posters, licensing cards,
flip-up albums of the actor and so on.
The handset costs 1998 Yuan and going on
sale in China on January 12.
