A couple of months ago, Nubia launched its flagship
smartphone in China, dubbed Nubia X. The phone comes equipped with two
touchscreen displays and is packed with top-notch specifications. The smartphone was unveiled in different
color options, including Deep Gray, Sea Blue, Black Gold, and Blue Gold. When
the phone went on sale, it was available in Deep Gray and Black Gold colors
only. Now, the company has finally started selling the Sea Blue color option in
China.
The Sea Blue Nubia X comes is currently available in
8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model. The phone is priced at 3,799 Yuan
which roughly converts to US$ 550. To remind the phone’s specifications, it comes with two 19:9 aspect
ratio displays — one of the front side and other on the back side. It features
a notch-less Full HD+ display on the front side, offering a screen-to-body
ratio of 93.6 percent. On the back side, there’s a 5.1-inch OLED screen with
720 x 1520 pixels screen resolution.
For heat dissipation, Nubia has included multi-layer
graphene cooling technology. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core
chipset, the phone packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal UFS 2.1 storage.
There are two fingerprint scanners that are placed on both sides of the smartphone.
The company claims that it can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds.
The Nubia X features f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel +
f/1.7 aperture 24-megapixel dual camera module with features like HDR, AI
portrait mode, AI scene recognition, dual pixel PDAF, 240fps slow-motion video
recording, and dual tone LED flash. For taking selfies, the rear-facing display
serves as a viewfinder.
The phone ships with Android 8.1 Oreo operating
system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Nubia UI 6.0. The device is
powered by 3,800mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging technology. The
company says that with the ultra-low-power mode, the smartphone can function
for up to 3 hours with only 5-percent battery life.
