Sony’s mid-range Xperia XA2 range handsets have been
around for around a year and it’s definitely time for a refresh. And while
we’ve not heard anything official from Sony, leaks surrounding the Xperia XA3
have started to pick up the pace. A new leak surfaced today on Slashleaks
revealing an alleged screen protector of the Xperia XA3. And it is nothing like
a previous Sony device at all.
The leaked screen protector indicates that the
upcoming Xperia XA3 will be devoid of bottom bezels and still sport a sizable
top bezel. Besides that, the screen protector does hint at the typical boxy
design we’re used to seeing on Sony’s devices.
However, a previous leak in October shed light on
the front design of the handset and that is nowhere near to what we’re seeing
today. That leaked CAD revealed a chunky bottom bezel that had a Sony branding
as well. Among related news, the Xperia XA3 got certified in Russia with model
number I4113. Along with it, the Xperia XA3 Ultra also got certified with model
number I4113. The handsets are expected to feature 18:9 aspect ratios and dual
rear cameras.
