Samsung partnered with Maison Margiela last year for the Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition, and the brand has again collaborated with the Parisian haute couture house to create the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition. Samsung says it teamed up with Maison Margiela "to deliver a device for people desiring freshness and unconventionality." The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition comes in a special white package, which reflects Maison Margiela's "unfinished style by utilizing a distinct stitching pattern in the center of the flap."
The package, covered by paper-based woven cloth fabric,
resembles an archival sample storage used in atelier stores to keep fabric
samples and threads. It includes a Flap Leather Case, a Flipsuit Case, and two
types of Splatter Flipsuit Cards. It also comes with a 25W PD charger and a USB
cable. The phone itself features a rear glass with a design showing the inner
workings of a Mason Margiela jacket. It's enhanced by the silver and metallic
effects exclusive to this special edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition also
comes with special icons and wallpapers, with the Flipsuit Cards changing the
phone's theme to match the card's pattern. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison
Margiela Edition will be available in select markets from November 30. Samsung
has not revealed the price yet, so we'll have to wait until next Thursday to
know how much it costs. However, if you live in South Korea and don't want to
miss a chance to purchase it, you can register here to get notified.
