Xiaomi has got a plethora of WiFi router under its
arsenal since it first entered the router business in 2013. That is perhaps
because of the importance of the router as a networking device in the home,
office and other public places. As a matter of act, the Mi Routers have become
one of the company’s main products alongside the Mi phones and Mi TV. The
company has just announced yet another router dubbed Mi Router 4C.
Xiaomi Mi Router 4C is an update over the
fourth-generation router product line which includes the 199 yuan (US$ 30) Mi
Router 4 and Mi Router 4Q which has the same 99 yuan price tag as this latest
model. The Mi Roter 4C is the third product in the series and the design isn’t
very much different from that of its siblings. The router comes with four
omnidirectional antennas meaning it can transmit signals in all directions
regardless of where it is placed facing.
The router comes in white colour with a compact
design similar to the Mi Router 4. The device also comes with a 64MB built-in
memory and supports smart APP management. According to the poster
announcing the product, it will go on sale at 10 AM on July 30 via Xiaomi Mall,
Xiaomi Youpin, Mi Home and TMall.
