Vivo X21 which was announced and named in China last
March and was first shown as a prototype at the CES 2018 in the Las Vegas,
Nevada, U.S.A. is now officially launched in the Philippines today.
The smartphone comes in 6.28-inch AMOLED display,
2.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor w/ Qualcomm AIE Artificial
Intelligence Chip, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM that is expandable up to 128GB via a
microSD slot.
The X21 comes with a face unlock for security that
features an in-built infrared light sensor for faster unlocking even if it's
dark. Aside from this security feature, Vivo added another option to unlock the
smartphone. The futuristic in-display fingerprint scanner that requires only a
single touch for an immediate access.
A graphical interface will show on the screen when
fingerprint scanning is required. It can be used when the screen is turned off,
sensitive mobile application, or even making a payment. Vivo assures that this in-display fingerprint
technology would not disrupt the overall visual experience of a user. When
fingerprint scanning is not required, the UI will be invisible.
The Vivo X21 is priced at PHP 29,999. It will be
available nationwide starting June 22, 2018. It will also be available online
via Shopee Philippines and Akulaku.
