Gigabyte has unveiled its new range of
Gemini Lake based J/N series motherboards, specifically built to accommodate
the latest Intel Pentium Silver or Intel Celeron processors. Providing users
with features such as humidity protected glass fabric PCBs, long acting
capacitors, anti-surge ICs, low resistance MOSFETS. As well as “Ultra Durable
components” offering users the ability to easily customise performance settings
on the motherboard to gain the most processing power from their systems.
The motherboards are equipped with a fanless cooling
solution and feature integrated Intel Gemini Lake processors making them
perfect for small form factor PC systems. The new Gigabyte motherboard range
offer support for HDMI 2.0 4K Ultra HD at 21:9 resolution and are equipped with
integrated PCIe Gen2 x2 M.2 slots, supporting high speed NVMe SSD for fast data
transfer speeds.
Other features include a native Intel WIFI via the
M.2 connector together with independently sold Intel CNVi wireless networking
solution, for wireless connections over 1 Gigabit per second, more
traditionally found on wired connections. Other features of the Gigabyte
motherboards include support for M.2 SATA SSD, UDIMM DDR4 modules rated for
2400MHz. Gigabyte explains a little more.
