Canary has announced the launch of their latest and most affordable home
security camera to date, in the form of the Canary View. Which is now available
to purchase priced at US$ 99 and is capable of sending intelligence alerts
directly to its companion smartphone application. Notifying you of any movement
within your home and providing a quick way for you to check directly from your
smartphone screen wherever you may be located in the world, using the View’s
integrated 1080p HD camera.
Canary also offers a membership scheme that allows
you to record motion activated recordings as long as the action keeps
happening. Subscriptions are available from $99 per year and as with other
security cameras offers the ability to extend your video history for up to 30
days. Videos are accessible directly from the companion smartphone application
and users can also watch live video stream directly to their mobile device if
required.
The Canary View home security camera is equipped
with embedded artificial intelligent technology and machine learning to filter
out insignificant motion, as well as identify important activity, and only
alert you to one important actions may occur. Person detection is launching in
early 2018 and will be available on all Canary devices, says Canary.
The canary cameras require no additional hubs and a
Dual-band wireless router is capable of providing enough signal for reliable
performance, says Canary.
