At CES 2018, Altec Lansing has unveiled a
range of three new speaker systems that come equipped with integrated Google
Assistant technology allowing you to enjoy your favourite audio and also
control your smart home. The range of speakers is equipped with both Bluetooth
or wireless connectivity enabling you to listen to your favourite streaming
music service and take the form of the GVA1, GVA3 and GVA4.
Starting with the Altec Lansing GVA1 smallest
speaker in the ranges equipped with a 2” Ferrite Woofer and 2” x 2 Passive
Radiator and is capable of connecting wirelessly within a range of up to 50 ft
and includes both Bluetooth and wireless pairing technology. With support for
music streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora and more. The GVA1 is
expected to be available sometime during Q2/Q3 2018 priced at US$ 129.99.
The Altec Lansing GVA3 speaker also has Google Voice
Assistant integrated into its design and also comes with an IP67 Waterproof
rating meaning that your speaker is protected from water and snow ingress. The
cylindrical design is fitted with a handle on the top for easy carrying and
portability and is once again supported up to a range of 50 feet and includes
multiform pairing that allows you to join up to 50 speakers for an excellent
surround sound effect. Once again the GVA3 will be available in Q2/Q3 2018
priced at US$ 149.99.
Last, the rectangular shaped Altec Lansing GVA4
has been designed to provide the ultimate speaker for your home and is equipped
with a built-in smartphone Qi wireless charging pad, together with an LCD Time
Screen and od source once again Google Assistant. The GVA4 offer is a more
extensive 100-foot wireless connectivity range and also includes Bluetooth
pairing. The Altec Lansing GVA4 will also be available during Q2/Q3 2018 priced
at US$ 199.99.
