The very interesting main camera of the W2018 is a
12 MP camera sensor with 1.4 μm pixels and whopping f/1.5 aperture camera lens.
That's the biggest on any smartphone in the world yet. The previous record was
by Huawei Mate 10 series and LG V30.
This kind of camera setup will let more light in for
better lowlight shots, create shallow depth of field for nicer portraits, and
faster shutter speed. This camera even has OIS for better stabilization.
Going to the phone, the W2018 features 2x 4.2-inch
FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution screens, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage expandable up to
256GB, 2,300mAh battery chargeable via
USB Type-C port, 5MP f/1.9 selfie camera, LTE connectivity, and Android 7.1.1
Nougat OS w/ Samsung Experience UI and Bixby.
The Samsung W2018 is exclusively available in China
for CNY 15,999 or around PHP 121K. There's no word yet whether this limited edition W
series smartphone will be available for the rest of the world or not.
