Reliance LYF Wind 6
A new entry-level smartphone called LFY Wind 6 is listed on an online store at
a price of Rs. 6,999. This is the second smartphone from the LYF brand to be
priced under Rs. 10,000, the LYF Flame 1 priced at Rs. 6,490 is the first
entry-level device that was made available last week in the market.
From the design perspective, both the
entry-level devices look exactly same and comes with the same polycarbonate
body. While the Wind 6 features a 5-inch display, the Flame 1 has got only a
smaller 4.5-inch display. Under the hood, the Wind 6 is powered by the 32-bit
Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 GHz. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB
of internal storage along with a MicroSD card support upto 32 GB.
As seen with the earlier LYF
smartphones, this device also offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE and VoWiFi. It has
dual SIM dual standby support and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. There is
a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus and the same 5 MP sensor on the
front but with only fixed focus. It is backed by a slightly larger 2,250 mAh
battery compared to the 2,000 mAh battery on the Flame 1. According to the listing, the mentioned
battery is said to give upto 8 hours of talk time.
It measures 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm and
weighs 156 grams. While all the earlier announced devices are made available
only through either Reliance Digital online stores or the retail stores, the
LYF Wind 6 is sold through 3rd party online store. The listing also mentions
the device to come 1+1 years of manufacturer warranty. Apart from the
additional warranty, the buyers of LYF Wind 6 will also get an LYF Carry Bag
and Rs. 6,500 worth free Gift Vouchers.
