Lava P7
Lava has launched a new entry-level
smartphone called Lava P7 priced at just Rs. 5,499. With the increasing
competition in the budget category, the company’s are now offering their
smartphone with mush better specifications with aggressive pricing. The device
runs on Android 5.1 Lolipop with almost stock UI and the company also promised
to release the Marshmallow update in the near future.
The device features a 5-inch display
with FWVGA (854 x 480) resolution and Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood
is the MediaTek Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM. It
has 8 GB of built-in storage that can be further expandable upto a maximum of
32 GB. It is backed by a 2,000 mAh that may not be sufficient for heavy users.
It supports dual SIM dual standby but
lacks the 4G LTE connectivity which is least expected in this new year. Talking
about the camera, it has a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash and
interestingly the 2 MP front camera is also accompanied with an LED flash.
Connectivity on this device includes 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS
and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
It will be available in the White, Blue
and Gold color options and can be purchased through online and offline stores
across the country.
