Following its global announcement, the itel A50C is now official in the Philippines. To recap, it is a more budget phone from its sibling itel A50 featuring slightly lower storage and other tweaked-down hardware. The device features a plastic back available in either Green or Yellow. The front design includes a large notch reminiscent of an iPhone and thick bezels.
Meanwhile, the screen features a 6.56-inch
LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1612 x 720 resolution at 267 ppi and a 60Hz refresh rate. Inside, the
phone utilizes the same chip 1.8GHz UNISOC T603 octa-core processor with
Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 2GB RAM + 2GB virtual RAM, and 32GB storage.
For battery, the phone uses a 4,000mAh
capacity and charges with USB-C and an unspecified power brick. For cameras,
the itel A50C features an 8MP AI dual rear shooter and a 5MP front camera for
selfies. Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a
bottom-firing speaker. Connectivity-wise, it has 4G, VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz),
Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.
For OS, the device runs Android 14 Go
