The Project DualPlay laptop features a unique design with a large touchpad that doubles as a detachable wireless controller. Players can easily detach the controller by pressing a release button located above the keyboard. This action also activates two high-fidelity, 5-watt pop-out speakers that enhance the audio experience.
Designed for multiplayer gaming, Project
DualPlay supports additional players by allowing one to join seamlessly. The
detachable controller can be split into two joysticks for an enhanced gaming
experience, particularly in games like Capcom Street Fighter 6. The laptop also
supports a smooth transition between keyboard and controller, adapting to
various game genres and playing styles.
The device includes customizable
360-degree RGB lighting on the keyboard, screen bezels, and trackpad. The
lighting extends to the infinity mirror bar at the back and the detachable
controller’s joysticks, adding a dynamic visual effect.
Currently, Project DualPlay is in the
concept stage, and Acer has not disclosed specific specifications or details
beyond the design.
