ASUS announces pre-order details and price for its first CoPilot+ laptop known as the Vivobook S 15 2024. Being its main highlight the new ASUS Vivobook S 15's Copilot+ has built-in helpful AI features like Live Captions, Cocreator with Windows Paint, ASUS' StoryCube appad, remove background noise video calls, aid in writing articles, and even make formulas in Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the laptop has a sleek metallic
appearance with a minimalist aesthetic and a silver engraving of the ASUS
Vivobook on the cover. It also has a 14.7mm thin body frame and weighs only
1.42 kg, making it easy to transport. The laptop features a 15.6-inch 3K 120Hz
OLED panel with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR600, and 0.2-speed response.
The laptop is powered by the latest
Snapdragon X Elite processor, which features a proprietary Oryon CPU and a
built-in Hexagon AI accelerator. It generates 45 TOPS of AI processing output,
allowing users to boost productivity and tackle complex activities such as
video editing and AI content development.
It is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, a
1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a 70WHr battery that can last up to 18 hours of use.
While ASUS did not specify the charging speed, it did say the laptop had a
USB-C Easy Charge feature. It also includes an FHD IR webcam with Windows
Studio Effect, ASUS adjustable dimming, and ASUS adjustable Lock.
It contains two USB 4.0 ports, USB-A 3.2
Gen 1, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. When it
comes to wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. For OS, the
laptop runs Windows 11 AI coupled with ASUS AI apps.
