The latest entry in vivo’s Y-series is here with the Y58 5G. It’s main claim to fame is a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging which vivo claims can last you up to two days between charges. The battery cell is also backed by a guarantee that it will retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles – that’s one charge per day for 4 years.
Elsewhere, vivo Y58 5G packs a 6.72-inch
LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel sports a punch
hole cutout for the 8MP front-facing camera while the back houses a 50MP main
cam with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth helper.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 sits at the
helm, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via the microSD
card slot. The software side is covered by Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14
and the device also brings IP64 dust and water resistance.
vivo Y58 5G comes in Himalayan Blue and
Sundarbans Green colors. Pricing starts at INR 19,499 (US$ 233) for the 8/128GB
trim.
