Sony India has expanded its microphone lineup today with the introduction of the ECM-W3 and ECM-W3S wireless microphones. These new microphones are designed to capture high-quality sound while being lightweight and easy to use. Both the ECM-W3 and ECM-W3S are versatile for various shooting scenarios like vlogs and interviews, ensuring high-quality voice capture even when filming away from the camera.
The ECM-W3 is designed for clear voices in
interviews, while the ECM-W3S is tailored for vloggers, focusing on delivering
natural sound. Both reduce noise, guaranteeing exceptional sound pickup. These
microphones boast compatibility with Sony cameras via the Multi-Interface (MI)
Shoe, as well as other devices with USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio inputs. They
come with a convenient charging case for easy portability.
Featuring advanced filters and a
windscreen, the ECM-W3 and ECM-W3S minimize unwanted noise during recording,
reducing the need for post-production edits. When connected to a Sony camera
with an MI Shoe, they enable direct recording of audio signals, ensuring superb
sound quality. Both microphones support low power consumption, low latency, and
high sound quality via Bluetooth 5.3 and LC3Plus codec. With MI Shoe support,
they offer battery-free and cable-free shooting flexibility.
The rechargeable batteries provide up to 6
