Last April 2024, OPPO announced the A3 Pro, now a similar name but with toned-down hardware is unveiled. The phone also comes with a different design which has a rectangular camera island. It uses a Magnetic Particle design in the Dark Purple colorway to achieve a dynamic flowing texture, while the Starry Black uses the OPPO Glow process.
Similarly, this adopts the same All-Round
Armour Body protection with reinforced internal instruction and drop-resistant
materials like Blue Glass double-tempered glass to ensure the phone can
withstand daily drops and impacts. Key components within the phone are also
cushioned with a Biomimetic Sponge to absorb shock. The A3 Pro has been
certified by SGS Drop-Resistance (Standard) and SGS Military Standard for its
extraordinary toughness.
At the front, the device uses a 6.67-inch
HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak
brightness. It also has an 8MP front camera. Inside, it has a 2.4GHz 6nm
Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and
128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. For battery, it has a 5,100mAh capacity that
charges using a 45W USB-C SUPERVOOC power brick.
In terms of imaging, the phone uses a 50MP
main shooter with f/1.8 aperture + 2MP portrait sensor + LED flash. Other
features noted are a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54
rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual
4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM. For OS, the
phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top.
