The vivo X100 Pro arrived with a one-of-a-kind imaging experience, and we certainly loved what the company did with the phone that was launched in November 2023. Now, the company is working on two more X100 variants, each slightly different on its own. A vivo X100 Ultra is on its way, as well as a vivo X100s, according to an official teaser shared widely on social media in China. The Ultra will bring a new camera alignment for the triple shooters, while the 100s will borrow the same design as the vanilla and Pro.
The picture was shared so much across
Weibo that we weren't able to track its origin or find a high-res variant.
Nevertheless, we can still see the X100 Ultra with a periscope camera, the
Zeiss logo with T* coating for the lenses, and some writing on the rim,
suggesting a 14 mm equivalent wide-angle shooter and an 85 mm equivalent
telephoto cam. The vivo X100 Ultra is also expected to launch with a Snapdragon
8 Gen 3 chipset.
The vivo X100s main difference from the
current two phones is the new chipset. We expect a Dimensity 9300+ with a
slightly more powerful major core – 3.4 GHz, instead of 3.25 GHz, according to
benchmarks posted by a vivo executive. The phones are just around the corner,
and a launch date should be announced in the following days. Hopefully, vivo
will bring the X100 Ultra and X100s to the international markets and not keep
them bound in China.
