The Samsung Galaxy F55 we've been hearing about for the past few months will be launched in India this month. The brand hasn't detailed the Galaxy F55's specs sheet yet, but thanks to Geekbench, we now know the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
The Geekbench listing of the Samsung
Galaxy F55 — sporting model code SM-E556B — also revealed that the smartphone
will come with 8GB RAM and Android 14. It scored 843 and 2,307 points in
Geekbench's single and multi-core tests, respectively. That's relatively lower
than what phones with the same chip scored in our tests. However, this particular
unit could be running a pre-release firmware, and the retail version could
perform better.
The teaser shared by Samsung India
recently revealed that the Galaxy F55 would come with triple rear cameras, a
vegan leather finish, and two color options, one of which is orange. The
Samsung Galaxy F55 is expected to be a rebranded Galaxy C55, which is a version
of the Galaxy M55 already available in India. That means you should expect the
Galaxy F55 to come with a 6.7" FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh
battery with 45W charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The triple
camera setup on the rear will be headlined by a 50MP camera, while the selfie
camera will use a 50MP sensor.
