Lenovo has introduced the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 mobile workstation for professionals who need high performance in a portable 14-inch laptop. It runs on AMD Ryzen PRO 8040 HS-Series processors, with built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, including a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for optimized AI workflows.
The AMD Ryzen AI in this laptop delivers
powerful processing power of 39 AI TOPS, almost 3.5 times compared to the
previous generation. Moreover, it incorporates AMD PRO technologies for
enterprise-grade manageability, security features for protection against
attacks, and stability for enterprise software.
Notable features include a choice of
(WUXGA) FHD touch or non-touch displays (1920 x 1200) with 400 nits brightness,
a 2.8K OLED display option (2880 x 1800) with low blue light and X-Rite factory
color calibration. The laptop offers lightweight mobility with a 3Whr battery
option and extendable working hours with a customer-replaceable (CRU) 39.3Whr /
52.5Whr battery, supported by a 65W AC Adapter Type-C. It supports up to 96GB
DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4×4 Performance SSD.
Operating system options include Windows
11 Pro and various Linux-based OS versions. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi
6E, optional 5G WWAN, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. It features a 5MP RGB Camera with
ThinkPad Webcam Privacy Shutter or 5MP RGB + IR with ThinkPad Webcam Privacy
