In celebration of its 90th Anniversary, FUJIFILM introduced the new INSTAX mini 99 premium analogue camera capable of bulb, double exposure, sports and macro modes. The new INSTAX mini 99 features the 62 x 46mm INSTAX film that takes around a90 seconds to develop. It has a retractable lens with two components and 2 elements with a 60mm focal length, of 1:12.7. It has a 0.37x viewfinder with target spot and parallax correction when in Macro mode. Its programmed electronic shutter from 1.8 to 1/400 seconds while its bulb mode can open up to 10 seconds. Users can also control the exposure LV 5.0 to 14.8 (ISO 800) with exposure compensation of -5/3EV, -2/3EV, +2/3EV, and +1EV.
It features an automatic flash that
supports indoor mode, fill-in flash, flash-off, and red-eye removal. It has a
charging time of 6.5 seconds when the battery is fully charged. The flash has
an effective range of 0.3 to 2.7 meters. Powering the camera is the NP-70s
battery that is rated for up to 10 INSTAX mini Film packs.
It has an LCD screen where users can see
the shooting modes, flash control modes, self-timer mode, battery level, color
effects and film counter. The camera has a tripod mount and a manual vignette
switch. It measures 103.5 x 117.5 x 60 mm and weighs 340 grams.
The camera was launched in the Philippines
alongside brand ambassadors such as SB19 member Justin De Dios, Visual artist
and Photographer Geloy Concepcion and Sparkle GMA actor-singer Khalil
Ramos. Its key new features include the
Color Effect Control where four internal LED lights light up and apply colors
to the film when the photo is taken, adding a new layer of creative expression.
While the new Vignette mode narrows the lens opening to adjust the light fall
off adding a vintage film effect. Included in the box are the USB-C cable,
Battery, Battery charger and a mini bottom grip with a tripod thread.
