The China-based electronics manufacturer Dere has launched a new 2-in-1 tablet cum laptop device in the market called the Dere T30 Pro. The new device is available in multiple configurations and is powered by the Intel Jasper Lake platform.
The tablet sports a 13-inch IPS display
with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. Dere also
asserts that the display provides a 144 Hz refresh rate, although with a peak
brightness of only 330 nits. Dere also included the Celeron N5095, a quad-core
processor with a 15 W TDP, in the T30 Pro. The chipset can be coupled with 8GB
/ 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of SSD storage.
The T30 Pro, presumably without its
keyboard cover, is only 6.6 mm thick and weighs about 1 kg, according to the
manufacturer. For reference, the gadget includes a USB Type-C port for charging
and data transfer in addition to a 3,800 mWh battery, which is claimed to
provide 6 hours of battery life. The tablet offers support for the Dere
D-Pencil stylus, which can be magnetically attached to the 16GB+512GB/16GB+1TB
versions.
Dere now offers the T30 Pro with 16 GB of
DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD starting at US$ 371.46. As an alternative, Dere sells
the T30 Pro for US$ 481.12 with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. All configurations
are now available for purchase in two colors with a color-coordinated keyboard
cover. All configurations come with an active stylus that may be kept in a loop
incorporated into the keyboard cover, as shown in the company’s marketing
photos.
