vivo introduced a new entry-level device called the V40 SE 5G. The new device sports a traditional vivo chich look with fresh color choices of Leather Purple or Crystal Black version. Alongside that, you can notice a rectangular camera island that houses the three sensors and LED flash. At the front, it is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 2400 x 1080 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 peak brightness.
Inside, the phone is equipped with the
2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X
RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. For battery, it comes with a 5,000mAh capacity
that charges using USB-C and supports up to 44W rating. Unfortunately, it
doesn't come with a charger in the box.
In the camera department, the phone sports
a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. For
selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.0 shooter. Other features noted are stereo speakers,
an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, and an In-Display fingerprint
reader.
For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi
(2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and dual SIM. For OS, the phone runs
Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14. Unfortunately, the pricing and availability are
