The Redmi Pad SE was released in September of last year, following an announcement in August, but so far it hasn't made its way to India. That's set to change very soon, as the brand's social media accounts for the country are now in full teaser mode, revealing the fact that the Redmi Pad SE is going to be launched in India on April 23.
It's unclear why Redmi waited so long from
the tablet's initial announcement to bring it to India, but it's finally
happening. The device will be revealed during Xiaomi's Smarter Living 2024
event. Its tagline for the Indian market is "Brilliant Display. All-Day
Battery".
The Redmi Pad SE has an 11-inch 1200x1920
90 Hz LCD touchscreen with 400-nit typical brightness, the Snapdragon 680 SoC
at the helm, 4/6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP
selfie camera, and an 8,000 mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.
Given the specs on offer here, it should be a budget offering.
