DJI, the leading brand in camera stabilization technology, is gearing up to reveal its latest products on April 9. Although the company hasn’t confirmed it officially, there’s strong speculation that DJI will introduce the RS 4 and RS 4 Pro camera gimbals. Ahead of the official unveiling, insiders like @Quadro_News have shared significant details about both devices, along with some product photos. Additionally, @rquandt has also shared several official images of the products.
According to the leaks from @Quadro_News,
the RS 4 series is expected to come with several improvements compared to their
predecessors. These include second-generation vertical scanning for smoother
transitions, an extended tilt axis for more creative possibilities, and DJI’s
latest fourth-generation stabilization algorithm.
Importantly, the new gimbals will maintain
a payload capacity of 3 kg, allowing compatibility with a wide range of cameras
and lenses. There will also be support for features like Bluetooth control and
DJI Focus Pro. One of the standout features of the DJI RS 4 series could be its
impressive battery life. At least one RS 4 model is expected to offer up to 29
hours of usage on a single charge, likely the RS 4 Pro variant.
The DJI RS 3 Pro has a runtime of 12
hours, so the extended runtime will be particularly beneficial for
professionals who demand uninterrupted performance during long shoots. Leaked
images also reveal an assortment of included accessories. The gimbals will come
with a carrying case, various USB cables for connecting cameras and devices,
and a selection of mounts for added versatility.
As per the leaks, the DJI RS 4 Combo
package will be priced at € 719, while the RS 4 Pro Combo will cost € 869. The
gimbals are expected to be available shortly after the official launch event on
April 9th.
