Anker has unveiled its latest USB-C Data Hub (11-in-1, 10Gbps). The Anker USB-C Data Hub is capable of delivering a power output of 100W and has a rich complement of interfaces for data and power delivery. The model is now available in the US and features 10Gbps USB-C ports, an SD card reader, and compatibility with a wide array of devices.
The Anker USB-C Data Hub (11-in-1, 10Gbps)
is designed to help the user seamlessly organize the workspace. It is
compatible with many laptops and tablets, as well as other devices. The
accessory comes with a 2-in-1 connector that allows for USB-C or USB-A
connectivity. Its USB-C PD-IN port can be used to charge the host device when
connected to a charger. You can also charge your smartphone and other smaller
devices via two 30W PD USB-C ports on the data hub. When both ports are
functional, the power output is reduced to 15W. In terms of data output, the
USB-C/ USB-A ports have a data transfer rate of 5Gbps.
You can achieve faster data transfer rates
with two 10Gbps USB-C and 10Gbps USB-A ports on the data hub. The Anker USB-C
Data Hub (11-in-1, 10Gbps) however remarkably omits an HDMI interface, as well
as DisplayPort. Although a monitor can be directly connected to the hub, a
separate display data cable that connects to your device is required for screen
mirroring.
The Anker USB-C Data Hub is offered in the
US with an 18-month warranty and is powered via a DC-IN port with a 65W power
supply. The dimensions of the accessory are 7.09 x 2.09 x 0.79 inches and weigh
about 200g. The price of the Anker USB-C Data Hub (11-in-1, 10Gbps) in the US
is US$ 69.99 via Amazon. The accessory is expected to launch in some other markets
subsequently.
