Following their launch in China, the Oppo Reno11 and Reno11 Pro are set to go global on January 11. Oppo.com already has landing pages for the upcoming phones in India and Malaysia, which are pretty light on details right now, but they do reveal some changes.
In China, the vanilla and Pro models look
virtually identical on the outside. Not so for the global models – the Reno11
has a new camera island layout with a single lens in the top circle (the other
lens seems to have moved to the bottom circle).
This might mean that the camera hardware
is different. However, Oppo still advertises the pair as telephoto portrait
experts, so we expect that the 47mm (2x) 32MP portrait camera will remain
unchanged. The phones will also retain their fast charge ratings – 67W for the
vanilla and 80W SuperVOOC for the Oppo Reno11 Pro. Both will launch with
ColorOS 14.
Oppo is running promotions in both
countries. In India, there is a lottery where people can win a free Reno11 Pro,
Enco Buds2, coupons or points (follow the Source link for more details). In
Malaysia, you can sign up to score a RMB 100 rebate and “500 complimentary
welcome points” (the perks are valued at RMB 576 total).
