LG CineBeam Qube

LG has announced CineBeam Qube (model HU710PB), its latest lifestyle projector, ahead of CES 2024. This comes after the company’s recently announced MyView smart monitors. The projector features an RGB laser light source and is capable of projecting 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution images measuring up to 120 inches.

LG is pitching the CineBeam Qube as a stylish interior accessory due to its eye-catching minimalist aesthetic. It also has a convenient 360-degree rotatable handle, HDMI with eARC / USB Type C inputs, and weighs just 1.49kg.

The projector can illuminate a peak brightness of up to 500 ANSI Lumens and is expected to offer clear, sharp images. The color accuracy of the CineBeam Qube means movies and other content are displayed just as their creators intended, with rich colors and deep blacks that add depth and vibrancy to every scene, said the company.

When it comes to software, the CineBeam Qube runs LG webOS 6.0, providing intuitive control and easy access to a diverse selection of streaming services, such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube. Users can also use the image-mapping function of the monitor to display digital images and enhance the ambiance of their space.

Pricing of the projector should be announced in 2024 when the rollout begins. LG is set to showcase the new LG CineBeam Qube at CES 2024 from January 9-12.
