Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 series of flagship foldable smartphones soon. Now, a new leak has revealed some key details regarding the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro model. So here are all the details. The news arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). For those unaware, the company’s next generation Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro are expected to launch soon. The tipster adds that the upcoming X Fold 3 foldable smartphone will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Although, it is unclear if the sensor will
be integrated into both the primary and cover display. At the moment, we have
no idea what the differences are between the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models.
Although, it is possible that the Pro version will boast a higher storage
configuration, like 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the
standard variant could feature up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Digital Chat Station adds that the X Fold
3 Pro could be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as well. This
won’t be surprising considering that its predecessor, Vivo X Fold 2, features
the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Unfortunately, the tipster did not reveal any
other finer details regarding this foldable phone.
