Samsung has launched the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G smartphones in India, as it had promised. The phones feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and Infinity-U notch cutouts. The A15 has a 90Hz refresh rate screen with 800 nits of brightness, while the A25 has a 120Hz panel with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The Galaxy A15 5G is powered by Dimensity 6100+ chip, and the A25 5G is equipped with the Exynos 1280 chip, both with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage.
Both Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G come
with Knox Security platform, built at the chip level, ensuring users are in
full control of their data with features like Auto Blocker, Secure Folder,
Privacy Dashboard, Samsung Passkey and others. The Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25
5G will also feature Knox Vault chipset, which provides a tamper-resistant
environment for data that matters most on a user’s device. These run One UI 6.0
based on Android 14, offering up to 4 OS versions and 5 years of security
updates.
The Galaxy A15 5G sports 50MP triple
camera setup with VDIS to reduce blur or distortion in videos from unsteady or
shaky movements. The Galaxy A25 5G
features 50MP (OIS) triple camera setup and houses several AI-enabled
photo-editing features. These pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support,
and the charger is sold separately.

128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 22,499. The Samsung Galaxy A25
5G comes in Blue, Yellow and Blue Black colours and is priced at Rs. 26,999 for
the 8GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 29,999. The phones
will be available soon from Samsung India online store as well as other online
and offline stores starting January 1, 2024.
