iQOO Neo9

The iQOO Neo9 series will arrive on December 27, the brand announced on Weibo. The lineup will have two phones – an iQOO Neo9 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and an iQOO Neo9 Pro with a Dimensity 9300 platform. Both will have a dedicated Q1 chip for e-sports, as seen also in the iQOO 12 Pro.

The Neo9 lineup will be available in three colors, revealed the official teaser. We already saw the dual-color option, but there will also be plain Blue or Black versions, keeping the two-camera design and the Neo writing under the lenses. The event will also see the introduction of wireless earphones iQOO TWS 1e and iQOO Watch, which are rebranded vivo products – vivo TWS 3e and vivo Watch 3, respectively.

The Q1 chip is a display driver chipe designed by vivo to support the gaming engine. It is supposed to learn by itself which games are played the most and then strive to maintain 144 Hz refresh rate and quick start. The feature is limited to 135 games available in China, though.

Some leaksters suggested the phones will have these memory combinations – 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB, and a top-tier version with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
