HP is reportedly working on a new laptop that is touted to be the world’s lightest 14-inch gaming machine. The upcoming offering is dubbed the HP Omen Transcend. Ahead of the official launch, WindowsReport has shared massive information about the device revealing its specifications as well as a look at the upcoming offering.
HP is prepping to launch the Omen
Transcend laptop soon. The exact launch timeline remains a mystery, it could
debut at the forthcoming CES in January. The leaked images show the laptop with
a thin profile and an RGB keyboard. It will reportedly weigh just 1.6kg. The
device is seen in Ceramic White and Shadow Black color options.
The report reveals that the HP Omen
Transcend will boast a 14-inch OLED display bearing a resolution of 2.8K
pixels. It will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, and a peak
brightness of 500 nits. There will be a 1080p webcam.
Under the hood, the HP Omen Transcend is
said to be powered by the 14th generation Intel Core Ultra chipsets. There will
also be up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU onboard. The machine is tipped to be equipped
with up to 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD storage. The report adds that the Omen
Transcend will be backed by a 71Whr battery cell that is claimed to offer 11.5
hours of usage. Additionally, the device will feature WiFi-7 and Bluetooth 5.3
connectivity.
