Brand Honor has a busy schedule going forward for China. Last month, it unveiled the Honor 100 and 100 Pro smartphones in the Chinese market. It is speculated that the Honor X50 GT and the Honor 90 GT smartphones will be unveiled by the end of this month in the country. The brand is also said to be working on its first flip phone, tentatively dubbed the Honor Magic Flip. A Chinese tipster has revealed when it might go official.
According to the tipster, the alleged
Honor Magic Flip will launch after the upcoming Spring Festival in China, which
will happen between Feb. 10 and Feb. 17. This indicates that the device may
debut in the first quarter of 2024. As per a recent report, the Honor Magic
Flip may pack a 2,420mAh + 1,980mAh dual-cell battery, which may offer a
combined capacity of 4,500mAh. Hence, it appears that the Magic Flip may come
equipped with the largest battery pack seen on a vertically foldable
smartphone. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the Magic Flip.
Honor is also working on the Snapdragon 8
Gen 3-powered Magic 6 series of flagship phones. The same tipster has claimed
that it will be unveiled in January in China. The lineup is expected to include
models, such as Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, Magic 6 Ultimate, and Magic 6 Porsche
Design.
In addition, the brand is also said to be
working on two other foldable phones for the year 2024. One of them appears to
be the Honor Magic V3, which may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and
an inward folding design. The other one seems to be the Honor Purse V2, packed
with upper mid-range specs and an outwardly foldable design.
