Honor is set to unveil its latest smartphone, the Honor 90 GT, on December 21 at 7 PM CST (GMT+8). The new device comes with three color options: GT Blue, Black, and Cream. While the Cream and Black variants come with a glass back, the GT Blue variant brings a vegan leather finish.
The Honor 90 GT comes with a right-angled
middle frame design, with the GT Blue variant accentuated with additional line
decorations on the back, rendering it easily recognizable. Meanwhile, the Black
and Cream options maintain a solid color scheme.
Notably, this is going to be a
performance-centric device boasting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with up
to 24GB RAM and 1TB internal storage starting from a 12+256GB configuration.
However, in the lead-up to the launch, Honor emphasized evaluating the graphics
quality in games beyond just technical specifications. The company claims that
the Honor 90 GT is set to deliver a genuine “PC-level image quality experience”
through meticulous chip tuning and polishing. Honor further challenges industry
norms by asserting its device’s ability to withstand a demanding 3-hour
heavy-load actual combat scenario, breaking away from the common half-hour,
zero-load lab scenario employed for industry testing.
Notable display features expected in the
Honor 90 GT include a flat panel with a centered single punch-hole design and
slim bezels on three sides, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro. This panel boasts
3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The device is
anticipated to support 100W fast charging, ensuring swift power replenishment
and fewer interruptions in your gaming sessions. On the photography front, the
rear is said to include a dual camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera with
OIS.
