Taiwanese tech giant Acer first announced the Predator Triton 16 at CES 2023 in January this year. Right now, the company has unveiled the Predator Triton Neo 16 which comes as an upgrade to the gaming marvel. The new laptop is powered by the Intel Meteor Lake processors, promising unparalleled performance.
The Predator Triton Neo 16 maintains
Acer’s tradition of keeping enthusiasts on the edge, as the company has chosen
not to disclose the specific Intel Meteor Lake CPU. However, the anticipation
is high, with possibilities including the Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 SKUs,
with the former expected to be available first. Paired with an Nvidia GeForce
RTX 4070 dGPU, the Triton Neo 16 is poised to deliver a gaming powerhouse.
One of the standout features is the dual
display configurations, offering users a choice between a stunning 3.2K of
3,200 x 2,000 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio LCD panel, and a second model with a
WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Both options boast a rapid 165 Hz
refresh rate. The 3.2K display covers the full DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring
vivid and accurate colors, complemented by support for Nvidia G-Sync and
Advanced Optimus for seamless graphics performance.
Acer has not only prioritized power but
also addressed the crucial aspect of cooling with the inclusion of the
AeroBlade 3D fans and liquid metal cooling for both the CPU and GPU. The
Predator Switch button allows users to dynamically switch between power
profiles, providing flexibility tailored to varying gaming demands.
The Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 is slated
for release in February 2024 with the price starting at an enticing US$ 1,699.
